the difference between plastic and tin

I said to Bai: "Do you know any other hut we can use, like the one we did for your interview?"

Bai said: "That was not a hut. That was a house. It had tin walls and a tin roof. You can't just pick it up and run. A hut is two plastic sheets that you can tie up anywhere. I can make you a hut anywhere you want in 10 minutes."

There's a certain freedom in being able to take your home with you :-)

I can't wait to see whatever it is you are working on, if I am able to.

I am so sorry, but Pavan has been after my life to make his own blog, he has been up to mischief, so his name has come with my picture.

Thanks, d gypsy!

Banno , everytime I drive down PDmello road I am amazed at the ingenuity of the dwelling places . And when I drive down Dharavi and see those toilets perched above the nullah my heart stops for a second ..

Eve's lungs, a lot of the houses on P D'Mello Road have now been demolished. More than the huts, I find their disappearance even more frightening. Been to some of the Delhi relocated slums, push away the poor to the borders of the city, so that the city appears clean and beautiful. However, what is the solution?

Banno none I guess but I used tolike seeing them - each dwelling place has a story hidden somewhere

Scary! And to think of all the things we crib about having! These folks don't have so much! And yet they are so full of life!

LOL It is true too...hai ki nahin :-)))

Well, now-a-days RVs serve the purpose of mobile homes :-P

eve's lungs, the stories are out in the open, like their most private areas of life. It's only the middle or the upper classes that can afford 'hiding'.

writerzblock, no, often numbed by life, too.
